Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the October 14, 2010 Meeting

Present:  Robert Lutts, Raymond Vaillancourt and Thaddeus Buczko

Robert Lutts called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor’s Office.

Reminder to all that the next meeting was scheduled for 11/11/10, a holiday, so the Board will hold it’s meeting the following Thursday, 11/18/10, 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor’s Office.

Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the 9/9/10 meeting.  The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.

The Board received seven thank you notes from students who received scholarships.

The Brookhouse Home submitted their receipts for medications ($742.06).  This is part of the FY2011 Large Grants and does not require a vote.

The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for a refrigerator the Board unanimously denied the request.

The Salem Council on Aging submitted requests for $742.06 for medication reimbursement from the Endicott Fund.  Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the requests.  The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.

A Salem resident submitted a request for rental assistance.  This will be forwarded to North Shore Community Action Program for review and assistance.

Ronald Malionek requested payment for any additional interest earned on the Perpetual Care Fund.  The fund earned $35,139.23 in FY10.  Checks were issued in July and September.  The interest is paid in full.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
